Payments to members of Llanfair Town Council 2016/2017

In accordance with Section 151 of the Local Government Measure 2011, Community and Town Councils must publish within their authority area the remuneration received by their members by 30th September following the end of the year to which the payment relates. This information should also be sent to the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales by the same date. Nil returns are also required. See Annex 4 of the Panel’s report for more information.

Llanfair Caereinion Town plan consultation 2018-2023

We are constructing a Town Plan to ensure the best way forward on many aspects concerning our community and the outlying areas.

The survey is a chance for the residents of Llanfair and beyond to have their say about the issues the Town council should prioritise in the coming 5 years.

Tirgwynt Community Fund

The Tirgwynt Community Fund is funded by Awel Newydd the owners of the Tirgwynt Wind Farm who will be making 5-yearly lump sum donation of £61,500 (index linked) to the fund during the life of the wind farm.

Town Council agree to take over Public Toilets

At the Town Council Meeting on 23rd March 2015 Llanfair Town Council voted to take over the running of the town's Public Toilets from Powys County Council to prevent their closure.
